Mama Mia It's a Beef Pizza

INGREDIENTS

1 lb. Lean ground beef (about 2 cups)

1/2 cup chopped onion

One 16-oz. pkg. (12") pre-baked whole wheat pizza crust

¾ cup of pizza sauce

1 cup fresh frozen vegetable medley (broccoli, corn & red pepper), defrosted and drained

1 cup shredded Mexican cheese blend or shredded cheddar and jack blend

PROCEDURE

Put hamburger and onions in frying pan, breaking up any big pieces and brown evenly and thoroughly. Drain the excess fat from the pan. Remove hamburger and onion mixture to plate covered with paper towel to absorb any extra fat.

Heat oven to 450 degrees. Place pizza crust on ungreased large baking sheet. Spread sauce evenly over crust. Top with beef mixture then with the vegetable mixture, and top everything with the cheese.

Place baking sheet on middle rack in oven and bake about 15 minutes or until toppings are heated through and the cheese is melted.

Remove from oven and move to large plate. Cut and serve immediately.
